Adam Fisher, Ph.D., ABPP, is board certified in couple and family psychology, an AASECT certified sex therapist, certified group psychotherapist, a licensed clinical psychologist, and president-elect of the Society for Couple & Family Psychology (APA Division 43). His primary areas of expertise are in working with couples, relationship challenges, and with clients with sexual concerns. He is also a certified discernment counselor.

During the day, Dr. Fisher is an associate clinical professor at Brigham Young University with a joint appointment between Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), and the department of Counseling Psychology and Special Education (CPSE). Dr. Fisher teaches and supervises graduate students in therapy and research, sees students for individual, couple, and group therapy, and conducts research on relationships, religion, and sexual health. He also teaches the undergraduate course at BYU, "Relational Intelligence: Building Healthy & Lasting Connections," and is also a clinical lecturer at Northwestern University, where he teaches courses in couple therapy and family systems.

Dr. Fisher completed a postdoctoral fellowship in couple and family therapy at The Family Institute at Northwestern University in 2017, and a PhD in counseling psychology from Indiana University in 2015, with a minor in human sexuality at the Kinsey Institute. He completed an M.A. in community counseling from Gonzaga University in 2009.
